Markus Lamest

Markus Lamest, PhD, FRM, currently serves as Senior Manager for Transversal Risk Management at Quintet Private Bank since February 2022. Prior to this role, Markus worked as a Manager in Risk Consulting at KPMG Luxembourg from June 2016 to January 2022, where responsibilities included providing risk and compliance consultation for the finance industry and assisting clients globally with technology implementation for cost reduction and risk management. Previously, Markus was a Researcher and Lecturer at Trinity College Dublin, focusing on data-supported decision-making at both Bachelor and MBA levels from September 2010 to May 2016. Markus started the academic career as a Research Assistant at Universität Trier, participating in a German Ministry for Research and Education-funded project from July 2008 to September 2010. Markus holds a Doctor of Philosophy from Trinity College Dublin and a Master in Business Administration from Universität Trier.
