Maksym Toporkov

Maksym Toporkov has a diverse work experience spanning several companies and roles. Maksym most recently worked at Quipu GmbH as the Head of Research And Development, where they conducted research, developed new services, and analyzed internal processes to improve efficiency. Prior to that, Maksym served as the Deputy Head of Information Security, Risk, and Compliance Department, coordinating efforts to integrate and maintain the security infrastructure of SOC and operationalize security requirements. Maksym also held the position of CTO at Incom Inter, where they studied the information services market and introduced new technologies to improve the company's competitiveness. Additionally, Maksym worked as a Security Operations Manager at Cisco on a contract basis and as the Head of System Architects and Presale Manager at JV "BEVALEX" LLC, where they managed departments, designed technical architectures, and created infrastructure projects. Earlier in their career, they served as the Head of Infrastructure Services at Donbassenergo and as the Head of System Administration at U K R I N V E S T, Ltd. Maksym began their career as a System Administrator at CJSC "Firma "Yug", where they were responsible for designing secure networks, project management, and IT support for various organizations.

Maksym Toporkov obtained their Specialist degree in Electromechanic from Donetsk National Technical University from 1997 to 2002. Prior to that, they attended Donetsk Technical College from 1994 to 1997, specializing in Commercial. Maksym has also obtained various certifications throughout their career, including the ITIL Foundation Certificate in IT Service Management from PeopleCert in September 2022. Other certifications include the Lenovo Certified Storage Sales Professional from Lenovo in June 2019, and the Microfocus Operations Bridge Presales Technical Certification 2017 curriculum from Microfocus Partner University in February 2019. In 2015, Maksym received the Citrix Certified Sales Professional from Citrix in December, the HP Sales Certified - Converged Infrastructure Solutions [2014] from HP Partner First Academy in January, along with several certifications from Veeam Software. Additionally, in 2012, they received certifications for Internal auditor for IT services management systems (ISO/IEC 20000:2011) and Specialist for IT services management systems (ISO/IEK 20000:2011) from TÜV SÜD Ukraine. In 2007, Maksym achieved the Cisco CCNA certification from the training center "Networking Academy - AMI".
