Dr. Sophie Chung

Dr. Sophie Chung has a wealth of experience in the healthcare industry. Dr. Sophie began their career in 2008 as a Medical Doctor at the Princess Alexandra Hospital NHS Trust. That same year, they also began working as an Engagement Manager at McKinsey & Company. In 2013, they joined ZocDoc as the Director of Healthcare Strategy and in 2016, they founded Qunomedical, a digital health platform with a focus on medical travel. At Qunomedical, they are the CEO and works to help patients find the right doctor anywhere in the world.

Dr. Sophie Chung attended the Medical University of Vienna from 2002 to 2008, where they obtained their Doctor of Medicine (M.D.). During this same period, they also attended the University of Vienna, where they studied Philosophy and Chinese Studies. In 2005 and 2006, they completed a Research Fellowship at CHOP at the University of Pennsylvania School of Medicine. In 2004, they attended Beijing Language and Culture University to study Chinese Studies. Finally, in 2001, they attended Yale University to study English Language and Literature, General.
