Ayman Issa has a diverse work experience spanning over two decades. Currently, they are working as a Quality Assurance Technical Lead at Quorum Software since February 2021. Previously, they held the same role at Aucerna from October 2019 to February 2021, and before that, they worked as a Senior Quality Assurance Analyst at Aucerna from August 2017 to November 2019.
From 2012 to 2017, Ayman served as the Quality Assurance Manager at 3esi-Enersight, where they rebuilt and managed the QA team, improved QA processes, and achieved operational objectives. Additionally, they briefly worked as a Quality Assurance Lead - Services at 3esi-Enersight in June 2012.
Prior to that, Ayman worked at the University of Calgary as a Post-Doctoral Fellow and a Sessional Instructor from July 2011 to July 2012. During this time, they introduced visual testing and defects concepts, managed research projects, and collaborated with industrial partners.
Ayman is also the Co-Founder and President of TESTEK - Software Testing Technologies, which is a specialized software testing and quality assurance services provider. Ayman successfully raised startup funding and built the infrastructure and personnel capacity of TESTEK from June 2010 to December 2011.
From 2006 to 2011, Ayman worked as an Assistant Professor at Philadelphia Private University (Jordan), where they taught software project management courses, established internship programs, and managed the information technology incubator.
Ayman also served as a Software Engineering Consultant and Trainer at Method Technologies from June 2007 to June 2011.
From February 2007 to June 2011, Ayman worked as a Senior Software Quality Assurance professional at Integrant Inc. During their time there, they outlined company processes, defined test automation processes, implemented a metrics scheme for process assessment, and managed high-quality projects.
Additionally, Ayman worked as the Philadelphia University Liaison Officer at SRTD from 2009 to 2011, and as a Software Engineering Researcher at the University of the West of England from September 2003 to July 2006.
Ayman Issa has a strong educational background in computer science and software cost estimation. Ayman obtained their PhD in Software Cost Estimation from the University of the West of England, where they studied from 2003 to 2006. Before that, they completed their MSc in Computer Science from the University of Jordan between 2000 and 2003. Ayman also holds a BSc in Computer Science from the same university, which they earned from 1996 to 2000.
In addition to their academic degrees, Ayman has obtained several certifications throughout their career. In 2009, they obtained the OCUP - Fundamental certification from OMG and the PMP certification from the Project Management Institute. Later, in 2015, they obtained the Six Sigma Green Belt certification from ASQ. It is worth noting that Ayman also has a certification in IBM CSD for RFT, but no specific information regarding the month or year of attainment is available.
