Jacques Lorne has a diverse work experience spanning several industries. Jacques started their career in 1993 as a Sourcing Manager at Hanes Companies, Inc. Then, they moved on to Leroy Merlin in 2003, where they served as the Director of the Garden Department and successfully redefined the marketing positioning and product ranges. In 2008, Jacques became the Director of Internet and E-commerce at Leroy Merlin, leading a team responsible for a major website overhaul. In 2012, they joined Oney as an Advisory Board Member, and in 2014, they became the Chief Executive Officer at Quotatis, a fast-growing digital services platform. Jacques also served as an Advisory Board Member at Bricoman from 2015 until 2017.
Jacques Lorne's education history includes obtaining a postgraduate diploma in Finance and Accounting from The London School of Economics and Political Science (LSE) from 1987 to 1988. Jacques also pursued finance studies at EDHEC Business School from 1985 to 1988. In 1992 to 1993, Jacques earned a Master of Business Administration (M.B.A.) degree in Finance from INSEAD. Furthermore, they obtained a certification in elementary-level Spanish from Duolingo in May 2016.
