Prerna Karidhal

Prerna Karidhal has a diverse work experience spanning various industries and roles. Prerna is currently the Founder of Qurez, a peta certified vegan, cruelty-free, and clean personal care brand. Qurez has gained recognition and was featured as one of the growing skincare brands by Midday and listed as a top 10 emerging beauty brand by BusinessWorld.

Prior to starting their own venture, Prerna worked as part of the Strategy (Marketing) team for New Cars at CarDekho from September 2015 to March 2017.

Earlier in their career, Prerna worked as a Senior Business Analyst at Jabong. Prerna was responsible for heading the Risk and Recovery in reverse supply chain operations, coordinating with logistic partners for Quality Check, estimating risk in various processes, introducing mechanisms to prevent fraud, and managing teams for online/offline escalations and customer retention.

Before joining Jabong, Prerna gained experience in Manufacturing Excellence and Supply Chain at Hindustan Unilever Limited from June 2013 to December 2014.

Prerna also founded BagYourBook, an entrepreneurial venture focused on providing book rental services, from January 2012 to May 2013.

Prerna started their career by holding the position of Vice President of the SAE IGIT chapter, where they organized workshops, industrial trips, and managed various activities such as SAE AWIM, SAE BAJA, FSAE SUPRA, and Effi Cycle.

Additionally, they were a team member of AIOUS Racing Team from IGIT, where they participated in the championship and won the cost event award for fabricating the lowest priced and lightest Formula car. The team received felicitation from the then Delhi Chief Minister.

Prerna Karidhal pursued their Bachelor of Technology (BTech) degree in Mechanical Engineering from Indira Gandhi Delhi Technical University for Women, completing it from 2009 to 2013. Prior to that, they received their Senior Secondary Education in science from Presentation Convent, Delhi between 1994 and 2008. Prerna later participated in the Goldman Sachs 10000 Women Program by NSRCEL at the Indian Institute of Management Bangalore, focusing on Management. Prerna also obtained a Diploma in Organic Skincare Formulation with a specialization in Skin Science from Formula Botanica. In terms of additional certifications, Prerna holds a Certificate of Excellence in Advance Digital Marketing from EduPristine, achieved in October 2017, and a Certified Six Sigma Green Belt certification from the Indian Statistical Institute, Delhi, obtained in April 2014. Additionally, they have a Yoga Instructor Certification - Level I, from the Morarji Desai National Institute of Yoga, although the specific dates of completion are not provided.
