Ian McFadden

Ian McFadden has a diverse work experience spanning over two decades. Ian started their career at UQ, USQ, and Nudgee International in various roles from 1996 to 2004. Ian then worked as the General Manager (Administration) at Shafston International College from 2004 to 2006. Following that, they served as the General Manager at Networking Plus from 2006 to 2008. In 2008, Ian joined QUT (Queensland University of Technology) and held multiple positions including Co-ordinator, Student Systems from 2008 to 2010, Senior Business Analyst for the SAMS Project in 2010, Manager of Admissions from 2010 to 2015, Director of QUT Global from 2015 to 2021, Acting Faculty Operations Manager for the Faculty of Business and Law in 2021, and Faculty Operations Manager for the Faculty of Engineering from 2021 to 2023. Currently, they are the Director of International Strategy at QUT.

Ian McFadden obtained a Bachelor's Degree in Business (Banking and Finance) from the University of Southern Queensland in 1994. Ian then pursued a Postgraduate Certificate in Information Systems Management from the same university from 2000 to 2001. In 2008, Ian earned a Microsoft Certified Systems Administrator certification from Microsoft. Lastly, they completed a Master of Business Administration (M.B.A.) degree at QUT (Queensland University of Technology) from 2011 to 2014.
