Nancy Defrancesco

Nancy Defrancesco, CPA has a diverse work experience spanning over several years. Nancy started their career as an auditor at Bowman & Company LLP from 1995 to 1997. Nancy then moved to Deloitte, where they worked as a Senior Auditor from 1997 to 2000 and subsequently as an Audit Manager from 2000 to 2002. During their time at Deloitte, they gained experience working with manufacturing, not-for-profit, and real estate clients.

In 2002, Nancy joined South Jersey Gas Company as the Manager of Financial Reporting, where they were responsible for financial statement preparation, analysis, and reporting. Nancy also supervised the general ledger accounting staff and implemented procedural changes.

Nancy then moved to Sunoco Logistics in 2007, where they initially served as a Senior Manager in General Accounting. Their responsibilities included monthly closing, preparation of financial statements, and managing relationships with auditors. Later, they became the Senior Manager in Crude Oil Accounting, overseeing a department of 14 professionals responsible for crude oil acquisition and marketing. Their duties included inventory reconciliation, accounts payable and receivable, cash forecasting, and transportation expense analysis.

From 2014 to 2019, Nancy worked at Fuelco Energy as the Director of Accounting. Nancy managed all aspects of accounting for the start-up fuel distributor, including accounts payable, accounts receivable, financial statement preparation, and analysis. Nancy also designed and implemented processes and procedures, managed sales and fuel tax filings, and performed account reconciliation and analysis.

Most recently, Nancy served as the Director of Accounting for QuVa Pharma, Inc. since 2019. In this role, they managed a team of 13 accounting professionals and oversaw all aspects of accounting for the private equity funded company. Nancy added structure and organization to the accounting team and developed timelines and monthly close calendars.

Throughout their career, Nancy has demonstrated strong leadership skills, expertise in financial reporting and analysis, and experience in managing audit engagements.

Nancy Defrancesco, CPA, obtained a Bachelor of Science (BS) degree in Accounting from Rutgers University - Camden. Nancy attended the university from 1991 to 1995, focusing on their field of study.
