Alex Voorhees

Alex Voorhees has extensive work experience in the field of engineering and technical delivery. From 2011 to 2013, Alex worked as an intern at Cloudbakers. They then joined Sports Made Personal in 2005 as an Age Group Leader, where they were responsible for coaching children and managing a team of employees. In 2014, Alex became the Head Coach at Trevian Soccer Club. Returning to Cloudbakers in 2013, Alex took on various roles including Cloud Programming Specialist, Manager of Application Development, Director of Technical Delivery, and Vice President of Engineering. They also held the positions of Vice President of Customer Engineering and Vice President of Cloud Engineering at 66degrees.

Alex Voorhees obtained a Bachelor of Arts (B.A.) degree in Computer Science and Educational Studies from Carleton College in the years 2009 to 2013. In 2019, Alex attended the University of Michigan - Stephen M. Ross School of Business where they pursued a Master of Business Administration (MBA) degree until 2021. Additionally, Alex obtained several certifications from Google, including Google Cloud Certified - Professional Data Engineer in September 2018, Google Certified Professional Cloud Architect in January 2018, and Google Cloud Platform Solutions Developer in November 2016.
