Rye Knowles

Rye Knowles has a diverse work experience spanning multiple roles and companies.

From November 2021, Rye is currently working at 66degrees as the Director of Cloud Engineering. Previously, from February 2022 to November 2023, they held the role of Infrastructure Team Lead at the same company. From November 2021 to February 2022, Rye worked as a GCP Cloud Architect.

Before joining 66degrees, Rye worked at Maven Wave, an Atos Company, from August 2020 to November 2021 as a Cloud Infrastructure Engineer and Senior Consultant.

Prior to that, Rye was an Engineer at Flexential from January 2018 to August 2020.

Rye Knowles earned a Bachelor of Science (B.S.) degree in Applied Horticulture from Oregon State University from 2014 to 2016. Prior to that, they obtained a Bachelor of Science (B.S.) degree in Horticultural Science from Colorado State University, where they studied from 2008 to 2014. In addition to their academic degrees, Rye has also obtained various certifications from reputable institutions such as Google, HashiCorp, AXELOS Global Best Practice, Amazon Web Services (AWS), VMware, and Microsoft.
