Walker Mathews Jr.

Walker Mathews Jr. has a diverse work experience in the construction industry. Walker started their career at R.C. Mathews Contractor in 2008 as an Assistant Project Manager, where they gained valuable experience in managing projects. Walker then joined Grant Thornton LLP (formerly ARRYVE, LLC) in 2013 as a Manager. After two years, they returned to R.C. Mathews Contractor in 2015 and took on the role of Project Manager/Preconstruction. In 2020, they were promoted to the position of President, showcasing their leadership skills and ability to handle projects of varying complexities.

Walker Mathews Jr. completed their education with an MBA degree in Finance, Strategy, and Real Estate from Vanderbilt University - Owen Graduate School of Management, where they attended from 2011 to 2013. Prior to that, they obtained a Bachelor of Science degree in Construction Science & Management from Clemson University. Additionally, they have received the certifications of Project Management Professional (PMP) from the Project Management Institute in July 2014, Leed Accredited Professional (LEED AP, BD+C) from the USGBC - National Capital Region Chapter in 2009, and OSHA 30 training from the OSHA Safety Training Institute.
