Prof. (Dr.) Amit Kumar Tiwari is a highly experienced professional in the field of intellectual property, particularly within the chemical, pharmaceutical, and life sciences sectors. Currently serving as a Senior Patent Associate at R K Dewan & Co and functioning as an Indian Patent Agent for the Government of India, Amit Kumar Tiwari has a solid background in patent drafting, filing, and prosecution. Previous roles include leadership positions in significant organizations such as Hikal Ltd and Micro Labs Ltd, where Amit Kumar Tiwari established and managed intellectual property departments. An accomplished academic, Amit Kumar Tiwari has also contributed as a professor and head of the Intellectual Property Department at Symbiosis International University. With a Doctor of Philosophy in Chemistry and multiple diplomas in patent law and cheminformatics, Amit Kumar Tiwari actively mentors startups and innovation initiatives under the Atal Innovation Mission and Startup India Program.
