Matthew Cern is an accomplished brand general manager currently at R Shea Brewing since May 2020, focused on expanding brand presence through client and distributor relationships. Previous experience as a beer guide for City Brew Tours showcased abilities in delivering engaging beer experiences across North America. Matthew has a solid foundation in emergency response, having served as a firefighter with Granger Township Fire Department and the Valley Fire District, as well as a deputy branch director with the Summit County Hazardous Materials Response Team. Additionally, extensive background in training and education was developed at The University of Akron, and prior roles in records and communications with the Village of Richfield, along with management experience at Jay Vending Company, further highlight a diverse skill set and leadership capabilities.
