Christi Smith (Corl)

Christi (Corl) Smith is a seasoned professional in the fields of public safety, criminal justice, and civil liberties, serving as a Subject Matter Expert at the Law Enforcement Action Partnership since February 2022 and as a Senior Fellow and Research Fellow at the R Street Institute since August 2021. With over 20 years of experience, Christi has held various significant roles, including Assistant Professor of Criminal Justice at Delaware Valley University and Domestic Violence Investigator for the County of Bucks. Previous positions also include Director of the Criminal Justice Department at Rosemont College, adjunct professorships, and extensive experience as an Adult Probation/Parole Officer. Christi holds a PhD in Public Safety from Capella University, along with a Master’s and Bachelor’s in Criminal Justice.
