Shaun Herbert has over 20 years of work experience in sales and business development. In 1999, they began their career as an Inside Sales Account Representative/Manager for a Value Added Reseller (VAR) of IT software and hardware at Softmart. Shaun was named to the President's Top 20 Club, which is 5% of the highest performing sales representatives out of 150. In 2000, they became an Outside Sales Account Executive at McLeodUSA, where they acquired new business accounts averaging 12 per month and met sales quotas consistently. In 2001, they moved to Guru Labs, LLC as a Sales and Business Development Manager for Linux courseware, training, and consulting. Shaun reported directly to the CEO and President and helped to establish business goals, pricing, and growth strategies. In 2011, they began working at MarketStar as an Inside Sales Representative for NETGEAR's Business Division. Shaun tripled potential customer sales opportunity quotas using Salesforce CRM and doubled sales quotas in three consecutive quarters. In 2012, they joined EDMC - The Art Institute of Salt Lake City as an Assistant Director of Admissions, where they exceeded the national average of applications for high school students by 20%. In 2014, they became a Medicare Sales Rep at eHealth Insurance Inc., where they increased sales per hour from 14% to 34% and raised the conversion rate from 20.1% to 29.3% in one month. In 2015, they joined Ellucian as a Sales Development Representative and generated over 15 million dollars of sales pipeline in Higher Education. In 2017, they moved to MarketStar as a Channel Sales Account Manager for Intermedia, where they were one of the top salesmen on the team out of 7 Channel Account Managers. In 2021, they joined R-Zero as a Business Development Representative, where they help organizations protect what matters most by reducing the transmission of pathogens and diseases they cause.
Shaun Herbert obtained their Bachelor of Science in Spanish and Secondary Education from Millersville University of Pennsylvania between 1992 and 1995. Shaun also obtained an Associates in Secondary Education from Brigham Young University - Idaho between 1989 and 1991.
