Kevin Quillien started their work experience in 2011 as an Engineering intern at Airbus. Kevin then became a MSc student in Space Systems Engineering at TU Delft from 2010 to 2013. During their time at TU Delft, they also worked as a Teaching Assistant for Simulation, Verification, and Validation.
In 2013, Kevin joined Clyde Space Ltd as a Systems Engineer, where they led CubeSat projects and played a key role in the development and delivery of satellite platforms. Kevin later became the Platforms Team Leader, responsible for resource planning, technical documentation review, spacecraft development lifecycle, and design authority for major decision-making. Kevin also prepared the company for the transition to developing satellite constellations and implemented new methodologies to best fulfill customer needs. Kevin worked at Clyde Space until 2018.
In 2018, Kevin co-founded Krucial as the CTO. At Krucial, they developed and implemented satellite-enabled, off-grid capable IoT infrastructure called Krucial CONNECT. Kevin'srole involved working with device manufacturers, platform developers, and end-users to maximize the potential of Krucial CONNECT.
Kevin Quillien completed their education in a chronological manner. From 2002 to 2007, they attended Sevenoaks School and obtained an International Baccalaureate degree. Following this, from 2007 to 2010, they pursued their Bachelor of Science in Aerospace Engineering at Delft University of Technology. Kevin then continued their studies at the same institution and earned a Master of Science degree in Space Systems Engineering from 2010 to 2013.
