Derek Liu

Derek Liu has a strong background in software engineering and architecture with experience in multiple companies. Derek began their career at Digital China as a Software Engineer, working on intermediary business development for banking services. Derek then joined Telenav as a Software Engineer, where they developed the mid-stage CServer of the navigation software and worked on customizing PhoneGap for unified mobile UI. Most recently, Derek worked at Aspira as a Senior Software Engineer and Software Architect. In these roles, they optimized e-commerce systems for high concurrency and performance, conducted DevOps practices, and transformed system architecture to microservices.

Derek Liu attended Xi'an University of Posts and Telecommunications from 2004 to 2008. Derek earned a Bachelor of Communication degree with a focus on Telecommunications Engineering during this time.
