Chris Luinge

Chris Luinge is an experienced professional in the field of archaeology and project management. Currently serving as a Junior Projectleider at RAAP since January 2023, Chris Luinge leads and executes grave research. Previous roles include KNA archeologist/prospector at MUG Ingenieursbureau from November 2020 to December 2022, focusing on field research and digital aspects of archaeological studies. Prior positions at RAAP and MUG Ingenieursbureau involved hands-on archaeological excavation, administrative tasks, and digital mapping of findings. Chris Luinge has also worked as a database programmer, object illustrator, and field technician in various capacities, with early experience as a furniture maker and formal education culminating in a Bachelor of Arts in Archaeology from the University of Groningen.
