Sakeena Ahmed has extensive experience in educational and health service roles, currently serving as a Volunteer and Student at Rabata since August 2018. As a Homeschool Teacher since August 2017, Sakeena contributes to the educational development of students. Sakeena has also held the position of Publicity Coordinator at the Birmingham Islamic Society since January 2008, demonstrating a commitment to community engagement on a volunteer basis. Previous professional experience includes a role as a Research Support Specialist at the SUNY Research Foundation from January 2009 to June 2011 and as a Health Services Project Administrator at Cooper Green Mercy Hospital from January 2005 to May 2008. Sakeena holds a Master of Public Health in Maternal and Child Health from the University of Alabama at Birmingham (2002-2004) and a Bachelor of Science in Biology-Psychology from Birmingham-Southern College (1998-2002).
