Adena Silberstein has a diverse work experience, with their most recent position being the Director of Marketing & Communications at the Rabbi Jacob Pressman Academy of Temple Beth Am since September 2019. Prior to that, they founded their own consulting firm, Adena Silberstein Consulting, in July 2015. Adena also worked as a Consultant at Students Matter, a national non-profit organization focused on promoting access to quality public education, from September 2014 to July 2015. Before that, they held various roles at 50CAN: The 50-State Campaign for Achievement Now, including Senior Vice President of Growth from July 2012 to September 2014 and Chief of Staff from September 2010 to July 2012. Their experience also includes roles as the Development Director and Development Manager at ConnCAN in 2010 and 2009 respectively. Adena Silberstein started their career as a Wexner Graduate Fellow at New York University from 2005 to 2009 and as a Senior Fellow at the American Jewish Committee from September 2004 to August 2005.
Adena Silberstein pursued their higher education starting from 1999 to 2003 at Barnard College, where they obtained a Bachelor of Arts degree with a focus on History and Creative Writing. Following this, from 2005 to 2009, they enrolled as a PhD Candidate at New York University, specializing in American Jewish History.
