Andrew Vold

Andrew Vold is a Senior Research Scientist II at Rad AI, focusing on advancing research in artificial intelligence. Previously, Andrew served as a Senior Machine Learning Scientist at Tempus Labs, Inc., applying novel natural language processing techniques to enhance the lives of cancer patients. With experience as a Research Scientist at Thomson Reuters and Boston Scientific, Andrew specialized in natural language processing and neural network development, respectively. Andrew has also contributed as a Peer Mentor at Great Learning, guiding students in data science, and as a Graduate Research Assistant at the University of Minnesota, where significant achievements included developing LSTM particle classifiers and observing electron neutrino appearance. Andrew holds a Ph.D. in Physics and a Bachelor's Degree in Physics, both from the University of Minnesota.
