Ken Kao

Ken Kao is a seasoned technology leader with extensive experience in engineering and product management across multiple high-profile companies. Currently serving as VP of Engineering at Rad AI, Ken focuses on building a distributed team to leverage generative AI in radiology. Previous roles include Head of Engineering for VR Engineering Systems at Meta, where significant contributions were made to augmented and virtual reality devices, and Head of Engineering for Hosting Tools at Airbnb, overseeing the development of various hosting tools. Ken has also held leadership positions at prominent organizations such as Axoni, Flatiron Health, Palantir Technologies, and the Republic of China Marine Corps, showcasing a strong track record in engineering management, recruiting, and product development. Ken holds both M.S. and B.S. degrees in Electrical Engineering from Stanford University.
