Ingrid Desar

Ingrid Desar has extensive experience in the field of oncology and medical governance. Currently serving as a member of the Scientific Advisory Council for the Medicine Committee at Zorginstituut Nederland since August 2021, Ingrid has been an internist-oncologist at Radboudumc since October 2013. Ingrid’s previous roles include board member at jNVMO from October 2010 to June 2013 and fellow in Medical Oncology at Radboudumc from 2007 to 2013, where a PhD in Medical Oncology was earned with a Cum Laude distinction for the dissertation titled "Advanced monitoring of targeted therapy in cancer." Additional leadership roles include chairperson at LVAG until March 2012 and board member at various medical societies. Ingrid also completed observerships at Beth Israel Deaconess Medical Center and Mount Sinai School of Medicine in 2011. Ingrid acquired an MD in Medicine from the University of Nijmegen from 1998 to 2004.
