Laurence Marsteller, MD

Laurence Marsteller, MD has a diverse work experience spanning over several decades. Laurence started their career in 1984 as a Budget Coordinator at First Interstate Bank. From there, they moved on to become an Analyst at Lehman Brothers in 1986 and then joined Morgan Stanley as an Analyst in 1987.

In 2003, Dr. Marsteller transitioned to the field of medical research and product development, taking on the role of Director of Medical Research and Product Development at CDEX, Inc. During their time there, they worked on multiple technology development projects, with a focus on medication safety and drug detection/prevention security markets.

In 2007, Dr. Marsteller co-founded Salutaris Medical Devices, Inc., where they held multiple roles including Chief Medical Officer, COO, and CEO. Salutaris Medical Devices, Inc. developed a wet AMD therapy technology that attracted investment from the Hoya Group.

Dr. Marsteller's most recent position is as the CEO and co-founder of Radiance Therapeutics, a clinical stage ophthalmology company focused on improving outcomes in glaucoma. Radiance Therapeutics is currently commercializing a novel glaucoma therapy that was developed through collaborations with Moorfields Eye Hospital and other leading research centers.

Throughout their career, Dr. Marsteller has demonstrated their passion for innovation and improving healthcare outcomes.

Laurence Marsteller, MD, has a diverse educational background in both astrophysics and physics. Laurence obtained a Master of Science (MSc) degree in Astrophysics from Yale University and a Bachelor of Science (BSc) degree in Physics from Georgetown University. Laurence Marsteller also completed the Honours Physics Programme at the University of Kent. Lastly, Laurence Marsteller pursued further education at the University of Arizona College of Medicine – Tucson, where they earned a Doctor of Medicine (MD) degree.
