Paul Prior

Paul Prior has over 16 years of work experience in various roles. Paul currently works at Radiant Vision Systems as a Senior Optical Software Engineer. Prior to this, they worked at Westboro Photonics for 6 years as a Research and Development Scientist, where they collaborated with software development and R&D teams to create innovative products and software. Paul also developed image processing software and provided technical support to the sales team. Prior to that, they worked at the University of Ottawa Heart Institute as a Research Assistant, focusing on image quality improvement in SPECT. Paul also has experience as a Teaching Assistant at Carleton University and as a Peer Tutor and Research Assistant at the University of Ontario Institute of Technology. Additionally, they have worked as a Summer Student at the Durham Catholic District School Board and as a File Clerk at Family Care Medical Centre.

Paul Prior completed a Master of Science degree in Medical Physics from Carleton University between 2012 and 2014. Prior to that, they obtained a Bachelor of Science degree in Physics: Energy and the Environment from Ontario Tech University, graduating in 2012. In terms of additional certifications, Paul completed "The Complete C# and Object-Oriented Programming Course" from Udemy in February 2021. In February 2019, they completed a certification in R Programming from Coursera. Additionally, in August 2018, Paul obtained a certification in "The Data Scientist's Toolbox" from Coursera. Lastly, in November 2015, they achieved Duolingo German Fluency: Intermediate (Estimated) certification from Duolingo.
