James Weaver

James Weaver has over a decade of experience in mental health and housing assistance. Currently serving as a Mental Health Practitioner at RADIAS Health since June 2020, James focuses on helping long-term users of homeless shelters remove barriers to health and self-sufficiency. Previously, James held key roles at Catholic Charities of St. Paul and Minneapolis, first as Unit Manager overseeing a team of case managers and maintaining a personal caseload, where over 90% of clients avoided returning to homelessness, and as a Housing Outreach Representative facilitating permanent supportive housing for individuals aged 55 and older. Earlier experience includes serving as Resident Head at the University of Chicago, managing the residential life of undergraduate students. James holds a Bachelor of Arts in History from Yale University, a Master’s Degree in New Testament and Early Christian Literature from the University of Chicago, and a Master of Divinity from Yale Divinity School.
