Mehmet Erdi Özbek

Mehmet Erdi Özbek has been working in the field of information security since 2018. Mehmet Erdi started their career at KPMG Türkiye as a Senior IT Auditor/Consultant at Information Risk Management Department. In 2021, they joined SabancıDx as an Information Security Consultant and in 2022, they moved to Radiflow as an OT/ICS Security Engineer. Prior to this, they had two internships. In 2016, they were a Summer Intern at Vestel B2B Solutions where they prepared Quality Assurance (QA) Matrix for risk perception in cooking appliances factory, examined production defects on gas-electrical hobs, built-in and free-standing ovens, and looked for possible error prevention actions in final product audit department. In 2014, they were a Summer Intern at Martmara where they performed data analytic studies about the potential target customer groups and created database with respect to their sector for the usage of associated department.

Mehmet Erdi Özbek is currently pursuing a Master of Science in Cyber Security from Bahcesehir University, which they began in 2019 and is expected to complete in 2022. Mehmet Erdi previously obtained a Bachelor of Science in Industrial Engineering from Sabanci University in 2017. Before that, they attended Hacı Sabancı Anatolian High School from 2008 to 2012. In addition to their formal education, Özbek has obtained several certifications, including ISO 27701:2019 Lead Auditor - Personal Data Management Systems from Exemplar Global, Inc. in December 2021, Network Security & Database Vulnerabilities from IBM in June 2020, ISO 22301:2019 Lead Auditor - Business Continuity Certification from IRCA | International Register of Certificated Auditors in October 2021, and ISO 27001:2013 Lead Auditor - Information Security Certification from IRCA | International Register of Certificated Auditors in October 2021.
