Pavel Sunda

Pavel Sunda has a diverse work experience in various technology-related roles. Pavel currently serves as the Chief Information Officer at Radio Free Europe/Radio Liberty. Prior to that, they worked as the Technology Director of BSS Transformation Programme at PPF Group, and as the Head of ICT (CIO) at Wuestenrot Financial Group in CZ.

Pavel also held positions at Ceske Radiokomunikace a. s. as the IT and Cloud Services Business Unit Manager (CIO) and as a Delivery Architect. Pavel worked as an MVNO Solution Architect (Contract) at Liberty Global and as a Senior Solutions Architect at Huawei Technologies.

Earlier in their career, Pavel worked at Vodafone CZ as a Senior Architect/Technology Advisor and as a Senior Manager Solution Integration. Pavel also gained experience at Mobilkom a.s. (Ufon) as a BSS/OSS Manager, and at Oskar Mobil a.s. as a Senior Manager Revenue Enabling Systems and a Senior Billing Specialist.

Pavel Sunda obtained a Master of Science (MSc) degree in Nuclear Sciences and Physical Engineering from the Czech Technical University in Prague, which they completed between 1991 and 1996. Later, between 2009 and 2012, they pursued a Bachelor of Business Administration (B.B.A.) degree in Financial Management at the University of Hradec Králové. Pavel has also obtained certifications in Scrum Foundation from TAYLLOR & COX in 2020 and in TOGAF® 9 Certified and TOGAF® 9 Foundation from The Open Group in 2018 and 2016, respectively.
