Cody Stricklin has several years of experience in mechanical engineering. Cody began their career as a Mechanical Engineering Intern at MAHLE in 2012. In 2013, they became a Mechanical Engineer in the Heavy Duty Diesel Pistons department at MAHLE, where they worked on developing new technology, creating CNC programs, and continuous improvement projects. From 2014 to 2015, Cody served as an Industrial Engineer in the same department, participating in customer and supplier plant visits. In 2015, they joined Radio Systems Corporation as a Mechanical Design Engineer, overseeing the design and production of consumer pet products. Cody was promoted to Senior Mechanical Engineer in 2020, continuing to manage the design and testing process for pet products. Cody also briefly worked at Jacobs as an Engineering Associate III in 2010.

Cody Stricklin earned a Bachelor of Engineering (B.E.) degree in Mechanical Engineering from the University of Tennessee, Knoxville, where they attended from 2008 to 2013. Furthermore, they obtained a certification in "Taking Charge of Your Career" from LinkedIn in June 2019.
