Kyle Palko has a diverse work experience, starting with their role as an IoT Backend Engineering Manager at Radio Systems Corporation in December 2020. In this position, they collaborated with multiple teams to develop complex IoT products, empowering senior engineers to take ownership of the projects. Prior to this, they worked as a Senior Software Engineer at the same company, where they led a rework of the IoT platform and updated legacy products to merge them into the new system.
Before joining Radio Systems Corporation, Kyle co-founded Glacier Software, LLC in 2019. As a Co-Founder, they developed software for tracking e-commerce orders in a production line, as well as produced a Proof-of-Concept for Quantum Lock Technologies.
In 2014, Kyle started their journey at Radio Systems Corporation as a Software Engineer. Kyle later became the technical lead for the IoT mobile apps team, where they designed a decoupled and reusable architecture, mentored other engineers, and delivered the Boundary Plus Smart™ System app. Additionally, they contributed to the development of the company's first IoT product, PetSafe Smart Feed, as a full-stack engineer.
Kyle's career began as a Web Development Intern at Knoxville Utilities Board in 2010, where they managed and developed web reports and applications using JSP, implementing new features such as AJAX and CSS on legacy systems.
Kyle Palko attended Pellissippi State Community College from 2009 to 2011. However, no degree or field of study is specified for this period. Kyle further obtained a certification in the Vista Engineering Management Accelerate Program from Vista Private Equity Group in December 2022.
