Tanya Strickland

Creative Services Production Manager at Radio Systems Corporation

Tanya Strickland has a diverse work experience spanning over three decades. Tanya began their career as a Production Assistant at Alley Theatre from 1990 to 1991, where they assisted in rehearsals and managed the young actors touring production. From 1991 to 1994, they worked as a Stage Manager at PlayMakers Repertory, overseeing stage crew and calling cues for live productions.

Tanya then joined IATSE Local 417 as a Freelance Stagehand/Rigger from 1994 to 1997, where they specialized in theatrical rigging and also handled spotlights, lighting, scenery, and sound. Tanya continued their work in the entertainment industry as a Commercial Editor and Live Television Director at WBIR from 1997 to 2001, using Avid and Final Cut Pro to produce commercials and special features.

In 2002, Tanya transitioned to the field of graphic design as an Art Director at Graform International. Tanya managed creative projects for multinational clients and handled all phases of the job from design to pre-press. From 2005 to 2006, they worked as a Marketing Coordinator at Life Extension, where they coordinated direct mail efforts and supervised print production.

Tanya then joined The Integer Group in 2006, initially as a Production Manager and later promoted to Senior Production Manager. In these roles, they managed the development and production of marketing materials for clients like MillerCoors and Procter & Gamble. Tanya provided leadership on innovation and digital marketing solutions, closely collaborating with clients, account service, and creative teams to support brand strategy.

In 2009, Tanya became a Freelance Creative at Equus Ink, and in 2018, they worked as a Grand Poobah at Zocco Print & Promo. Currently, they serve as a Creative Services Production Manager at Radio Systems Corporation, where they manage the production of various marketing and promotional materials.

Throughout their career, Tanya has demonstrated their expertise in project management, creative design, and collaboration with clients and teams.

Tanya Strickland's education history begins with their enrollment at the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill from 1986 to 1990. During this time, they pursued a Bachelor of Arts (BA) degree in Radio, Television, and Motion Pictures.

In 2001 to 2002, Tanya attended The Art Institutes and obtained a diploma in Graphic and Desktop Design.

Later on, between 2005 and 2007, they obtained an MBA degree in Marketing from the University of Phoenix.

Aside from their formal education, Tanya has also acquired additional certifications. In January 2018, they completed "Graphic Design: Logo Design Tips and Tricks" from LinkedIn. Moreover, in October 2015, they obtained certification in Adult First Aid/CPR/AED from the American Red Cross.
