ALBERT BARRA , CIIP

Albert Barra has a solid background in the field of PACS administration and IT management. ALBERT has held various roles throughout their career, starting as a Business Owner at iTECH from December 2007 to December 2013. Following that, they worked as a PACS/IT Manager at Advanced Medical Imaging LLC / Interventional Treatment Institute / Miramar Pain Management from 2008 to 2016, overseeing technology issues and implementing efficient workflows across multiple clinics.

From 2015 to 2018, Albert served as a System PACS Administrator/Consultant at South Texas Health System. In this role, they managed an enterprise PACS system for a 9-site hospital system, coordinating installations and data migrations. ALBERT also worked with directors and coordinators as part of the Clinical Dose Optimization service.

In 2016, Albert joined Baylor Scott & White Health as a PACS/RIS Administrator until 2018, where they further expanded their expertise in managing imaging systems.

Most recently, Albert has been working at Radiology Associates of North Texas, P.A. from December 2018 onwards as the Integration Technical Lead & Senior Imaging System Administrator.

Albert Barra attended Blinn College from 2006 to 2007. Following their time at Blinn College, they attended Texas A&M University from 2007 to 2009. No specific degree or field of study information was provided for either institution.
