Heike Arlt

Heike Arlt is a highly experienced scientist with a focus on drug discovery, target validation, and assay development. Currently serving as a Senior Scientist at Radius Health, Inc. since 2016, Heike has made significant contributions to multiple small molecule drug discovery programs and identified pharmacodynamic markers through signal transduction pathway analysis. Prior to this, Heike held roles at Sanofi, where responsibilities included the development of high-content assays for oncology and neurodegenerative disease programs, and at Aclara Biosciences, where innovative immunoassays were developed for protein analysis. Earlier experience includes positions at Galileo Pharmaceuticals, where Heike worked on drug discovery and assay development related to cardiovascular conditions, and Genentech, where research focused on the apoptotic pathway. Heike earned a Ph.D. in Cell/Cellular and Molecular Biology from Ludwig-Maximilians-Universität München and a Diplom in Molecular Virology from FAU Erlangen-Nürnberg.
