Michael Brown has a diverse work experience that spans over a decade. Michael started their career in the US Navy as a Naval Flight Officer, where they underwent rigorous training and gained skills in avionics, aircraft systems, and navigation. After their time in the Navy, they joined the National Security Agency as a Satellite Systems Engineer/Resource Manager, where they led a large team and was responsible for allocating resources for national assets.

From there, Michael worked at BIT Systems as a Global Command Team Senior Planner, where they managed competing requirements from various government agencies and optimized collection strategies. Michael also served as an OH Mission Operations Planner, where they played a crucial role in guaranteeing the success of IC-wide efforts.

After their time at BIT Systems, Michael joined Radix Metasystems, Inc. as an Integration Lead/Mission & Systems Engineer. In this role, they led a software development team in the fielding of a bistatic synthetic aperture radar mission planning tool. Michael also worked as a SIGINT Tasking and Collection SME, where they co-authored a proposal that resulted in a prime contract award and developed various deliverables and briefings.

Throughout their career, Michael has consistently showcased their leadership abilities and commitment to excellence. Michael has received multiple awards and has been recognized for their expertise and customer advocacy in delivering cutting-edge capabilities.

Michael Brown attended the United States Naval Academy from 2006 to 2010, where they earned a Bachelor of Science (B.S.) degree in Aerospace, Aeronautical and Astronautical/Space Engineering. Prior to that, from 2005 to 2006, they briefly studied Aerospace, Aeronautical and Astronautical Engineering at the University of Maryland. In addition to their formal education, they obtained a certification in Machine Learning from Coursera in January 2022.
