Tingran Gao

Tingran Gao is a Quantitative Researcher at Radix Trading LLC since April 2020, with prior experience as a William H. Kruskal Instructor in the Department of Statistics at the University of Chicago and as a Visiting Assistant Professor in the Department of Mathematics at Duke University. Specializing in applied harmonic analysis, differential geometry, and statistical theory of machine learning, Tingran Gao possesses a broad knowledge of algorithm design, geometry processing, and data visualization. Previous roles include a Data Scientist Intern at MarkMonitor, developing a high-accuracy machine learning system for malicious URL detection, and academic positions at Duke University and the Weizmann Institute of Science. Tingran Gao holds a Ph.D. and a Master's degree in Mathematics and Computer Science from Duke University, respectively, and a Bachelor's degree in Mathematics from Tsinghua University.
