Sophie Langdale

Sophie Langdale is an accomplished professional with extensive experience in admissions and communications within the educational sector. Currently serving as the Director of Admissions and Communications at Radley College since September 2020, Sophie previously held the position of Director of Admissions at Wycombe Abbey School from September 2016 to July 2020. Prior to that, Sophie worked at dmg media as Head of Projects in the CEO's Office for a brief period in 2016. Sophie’s career also includes a lengthy tenure at Magdalen College School in Oxford as Registrar and Head of External Relations from January 2009 to April 2016, as well as reporting and producing for Sky News and BBC from November 1991 to December 2008. Early career experience includes an executive role at Laing and Cruickshank/Credit Lyonnais Securities from September 1988 to October 1991. Sophie holds a degree in Classics from Durham University, where studies were completed between 1985 and 1988, and attended Queen Anne's School in Caversham from 1977 to 1984.
