Veerendra Kumar

Veerendra Kumar has a diverse work experience spanning multiple companies and roles. Veerendra started their career in 2002 as a Software Engineer at ESA & Deccanet, where they conducted testing and troubleshooting of 8051 micro-controller motherboards. Veerendra then worked at Huawei Technologies from 2005 to 2006 as SSE, focusing on wireless intelligent networks and PRE-PIAD services.

From 2007 to 2010, Veerendra worked at MARS Telecom Systems Pvt. Ltd. as a Sr. Member of Technical Staff, responsible for testing 3Com-Digium Asterisk appliances and conducting interoperability testing with Audio Codes digital and analog gateways.

In 2011, Veerendra joined Digitalk as a Senior QA Engineer, where they planned, managed, and executed QA build test cycles for VoIP peering wholesale switch (I-SBC). Veerendra also worked at Voxvalley Technologies as both the QA Manager (Consultant) and QA Manager (Technical) & Technical Consultant, implementing internal processes for quality engineering teams and setting up lean QA processes.

At Polycom, Veerendra served as a Sr. Automation Development Engineer (Lead Engineer) from 2013 to 2014, focusing on identifying performance tools for solution performance testing. Veerendra then joined Qumu Corporation as an Automation Architect, designing and implementing automation frameworks using Robot Framework for video CMS.

Before joining Rafay as the Principal Engineer and Senior Manager of Quality Engineering in 2018, Veerendra worked at Polycom as a Staff Engineer (Solution Automation), responsible for building and automating Polycom video endpoints solutions.

In 2017, Veerendra also worked at qamplify (previously qaautomation.in) as an Advisory Consultant (Quality Engineering), providing quality engineering expertise.

Overall, Veerendra Kumar has gained extensive experience in quality engineering, automation, and solution testing throughout their career.

Veerendra Kumar completed their B.Tech degree in E&CE from Jawaharlal Nehru Technological University, starting in 1998 and graduating in 2002. Prior to that, they attended L.R.G School from 1991 to 1996, where they received their SSC degree.

In addition to their formal education, Veerendra Kumar has obtained several certifications. In January 2011, they achieved the ISTQB CTFL certification from the ISTQB - International Software Testing Qualifications Board. Veerendra obtained the AWS Certified Solutions Architect – Associate certification from Amazon Web Services (AWS) in January 2021. In February 2020, they earned the CKA: Certified Kubernetes Administrator certification from The Linux Foundation. In June 2015, they became a Certified Scrum Master through the Scrum Alliance. Lastly, in August 2012, they obtained the CCNA certification from Cisco.
