Ellise Warkentin

Ellise Warkentin has extensive work experience in the creative industry. Ellise started their career in 2003 as a Canadian Sales Rep for SPY, where they worked until 2004. Ellise then joined Levi Strauss & Co. as a Trend Scout in 2006. In 2007, Ellise joined Aritzia as a Sr. Textile Designer / Graphic Manager and stayed with the company until 2012. Ellise then moved to Saje Natural Wellness as a Sr. Creative Services Manager from 2012 to 2013. Following this, Ellise worked as a Sr. Graphic Designer for GENTLE FAWN from 2013 to 2016, and then as a Sr. Graphic Designer for Planet Blue from 2016 to 2017. Currently, they are employed as an Art Director at RAILS International since 2017.

Ellise Warkentin completed their education at three different institutions. From 1998 to 2000, they attended Capilano University and obtained a Diploma in Fine/Studio Arts, with a general focus. In 2004, they enrolled at Emily Carr University of Art and Design, graduating in 2007 with a degree in Communication Design, specializing in Graphic Design. Additionally, in 2006, Ellise participated in an exchange program at Pratt Institute in New York City, furthering their studies in Graphic Design.
