Humza Tahir

Humza Tahir is the Global COO at Rain. Prior to this, they served as the Chief Compliance Officer (CCO) at Bitstamp from September 2020 to June 2021. In this role, they were responsible for the global restructure, compliance, and head of operations. From February 2020 to September 2020, they worked as the Financial Crime Policy and Advisory at RBC Investor & Treasury Services. In this role, they provided advisory support for EU processes and policies, compliance, and regulatory review. From December 2019 to January 2020, they served as the Specialist KYC QA Manager at IQ-EQ. In this role, they were responsible for remediation management, regulatory POC, operational restructure, and SME support. Prior to that, they were the KYC QC Team Manager at Aston Carter from October 2018 to January 2019. In this role, they were responsible for team management, compliance, remediation, and streamlining processes. Humza has also served as the KYC Onboarding Operations Manager at Protiviti UK from October 2017 to September 2018 and as the QA Process Analyst at Deutsche Bank from August 2016 to October 2016. Most recently, they served as the KYC Tax and Admin Manager at BNY Mellon from March 2015 to October 2015.
