Zack Shapiro

Zack Shapiro is a seasoned legal professional with extensive experience in corporate law, venture financing, and digital asset securities law. Currently serving as Managing Partner at Rains since September 2022, Zack leads a team of tech-savvy lawyers focused on achieving business objectives while navigating legal risks. Previously, Zack was Principal at Shapiro Venture Law PLLC from January 2021 to September 2022, and co-founded BZR, where Zack also held the position of General Counsel. Zack has experience as a Judicial Law Clerk for the Honorable Gerard E. Lynch at the United States Court of Appeals and for the Honorable Paul A. Engelmayer at the United States District Court. Zack began a legal career as an Associate at Davis Polk & Wardwell LLP, specializing in digital assets and white-collar criminal representation. Zack holds a JD from Yale Law School and a Bachelor's degree from Williams College.
