Giorgio de Rosa

Giorgio De Rosa serves as Senior Legal Counsel at Raízen since September 2019, overseeing the legal and insurance functions for Raízen Trading offices globally while providing legal counsel on shipping and trading matters for the entire Raízen group. Prior to this role, Giorgio was Sole Legal Counsel for Raízen Trading, managing all legal and insurance matters primarily related to trading, shipping, and commercial issues. Previous experience includes positions as Legal Counsel at The Standard P&I Club, Associate at VoskampLawyers, and Head of Legal at Augusta Offshore S.p.A., with early career roles as Trainee/Associate Lawyer at Simmons & Simmons and Trainee Lawyer at LMS Studio legale. Giorgio holds a Master’s degree in Law from City, University of London and a Bachelor’s degree in Law from Università degli Studi di Napoli Federico II, complemented by studies at Universitat Pompeu Fabra and Universidad de Valladolid.
