Chemos Ivan

Chemos Ivan serves as the Infection Prevention and Control Technical Lead at the Rakai Health Sciences Program since January 2021, coordinating infection prevention and vaccination activities across 12 districts in greater Masaka, overseeing adherence to IPC SOPs in approximately 170 facilities, and supporting COVID-19 vaccination efforts for priority populations. Prior experience includes a role as a Medical Officer at Kagame HC IV from October 2020 to July 2021 and an internship at Hoima Regional Referral Hospital from October 2019 to September 2020, where Chemos worked across multiple medical disciplines including Obstetrics and Gynecology, Surgery, Pediatrics and Child Health, and Internal Medicine. Chemos Ivan earned a degree from Makerere University between 2014 and 2019.
