Jiangchun Li

Jiangchun Li is a seasoned machine learning engineer currently serving as a Senior Machine Learning Engineer at Rakuten since March 2024. Prior to this, Jiangchun held the position of Deep Learning Algorithm Engineer (Manager) at Gaussian Robotics from October 2021 to December 2023, focusing on the development of advanced deep learning algorithms for industrial cleaning robots and leading the creation of an "inspection cleaning" system to enhance process digitization. Previously, as a Senior Data Scientist at ViSenze from July 2018 to October 2021, Jiangchun developed a sophisticated "complete the look" solution for fashion outfit generation and large-scale image recognition models tailored for the fashion industry. Jiangchun's experience also includes roles at AXA, where data-driven customer behavior modeling projects were conducted, and an early career as a Data Scientist at Jiaxing Insis Fashion Co., LTD. Academic credentials include a Master of Science in Business Analytics from the National University of Singapore and dual Bachelor’s degrees in Finance and Industrial and Product Design from Zhejiang University.
