Byron K. J.

Byron K. J. serves as the Director of Public Safety and Security at the Raleigh Convention Center since June 2021. Prior to this role, Byron held various positions at the Houston Rockets from December 2011 to May 2021, including Security Manager, Security Coordinator, and Event Coordinator. Byron's career began at the University of Houston Athletics Department as a Facilities & Event Management/Operations Student Worker from December 2009 to January 2012. Educational credentials include a Bachelor of Science degree in Sport and Fitness Administration/Management from the University of Houston, obtained between 2007 and 2011.
