Zhiliang Cheng

Zhiliang Cheng has been working in the field since 2007. Zhiliang started as a Research Associate at Howard Hughes Medical Institute and then became a Research Specialist in 2012. In 2013, they were a Manager of Bioassay Development and Senior Scientist at NVIGEN Inc. and a Research Scientist II and III at Alexion Pharmaceuticals, Inc. In 2017, they became a Senior Manager of R&D Planning, Strategy & Operations at Regeneron Pharmaceuticals, Inc. and in 2019 they were a Vice President of Research and Executive Director, Head of Research at Inozyme Pharma. Currently, they are the VP, Head of Discovery and Innovation at Rallybio.

Zhiliang Cheng obtained a Ph.D in Biochemistry and Molecular Pharmacology from UMass Chan Medical School in 2006. Zhiliang also holds a Bachelor of Science in Biological Sciences from the University of Science and Technology of China.
