Chief Innovation & Development Officer at Ramapo for Children

Jennifer joined Ramapo in the Fall of 2016, taking over supervision of all direct service programs on the Rhinebeck campus. For the past fourteen years, Jennifer held a position as member of the Senior Leadership Group at Good Shepherd Services. In her role as a division director, she oversaw four after school programs including a Beacon and Cornerstone Community Center as well as in-school counseling services at these sites. Jennifer supervised a team of program directors and a staff of over 80 youth development practitioners in addition to social workers and interns, creating programs where all children and youth felt a deep sense of belonging and had the opportunity to be engaged in meaningful and engaging activities. Prior to Good Shepherd Services, Jennifer worked at Oasis Children’s Services for two and a half years where she helped build and direct a summer day camp serving 500 children in Brownsville, Brooklyn. Prior to Oasis, Jennifer began her social work career with a fourteen-year tenure at Center for Family Life in Sunset Park Brooklyn where she did both clinical work with families and directed after school and summer day camps. Jennifer holds a master’s degree in social work from Hunter School of Social Work and a bachelor’s degree in political science from Drew University.
