John Eble has a diverse work experience spanning over two decades. John started their career at Compaq as a Principle Hardware Engineer from November 1998 to March 2001. John then moved on to Velio Communications, where they worked as a Sr. Circuit Designer from March 2001 to December 2003. Since 2003, they have been associated with Rambus, holding various positions of increasing responsibility. Their roles at Rambus include Sr. Engineering Manager from December 2003 to July 2011, Director of Architecture and Signaling at Rambus Labs from June 2011 to October 2013, Director of Engineering in the Memory and Interfaces Division from October 2013 to February 2015, Sr. Director of Engineering in the same division from February 2015 to April 2016, and Sr. Director of Technical Marketing in the Memory and Interfaces Division from April 2016 to August 2017. Currently, they serve as the VP of Engineering for Datacenter Products at Rambus.
John Eble earned a Ph.D. in Electrical Engineering from the Georgia Institute of Technology from 1994 to 1998. Prior to that, they obtained an M.S. in Electrical Engineering with a minor in Computer Science from the same institute from 1993 to 1994. John completed their undergraduate studies in Computer Engineering, earning a B.S. degree from the Georgia Institute of Technology from 1989 to 1993.
