Aaron Tyler has extensive experience in the scientific research field. Aaron began their career at MRIGlobal in 2012 as an Assistant Scientist, where they focused on microbiology and drug/vaccine development. In this role, they conducted in vitro assay development and evaluation, as well as developed novel antibiotics and therapeutic approaches. After leaving MRIGlobal in 2015, Aaron joined Eurofins Viracor as a Research Scientist. Here, they supported method development for clinical diagnostics and biopharma testing, performing a variety of analytical methods to detect and monitor disease states. Aaron also led the design, development, validation, and execution of assays. Most recently, Aaron joined Rancho BioSciences as a Bioinformatics Scientist in 2022. In this role, they build and tests next-generation sequencing pipelines and performs analysis on complex datasets to answer clients' research questions.
Aaron Tyler earned a Bachelor of Science (BS) degree in Microbiology from the University of Oklahoma between 2008 and 2011. Aaron then pursued a Master's degree in Bioinformatics at the University of Maryland Global Campus from 2019 to 2022. Additionally, Aaron obtained a Masters Program certificate in August 2022 from the University of Maryland Global Campus.
