Tomoko T.

Tomoko T. has extensive experience in the field of genomics and bioinformatics. Tomoko has worked as a Senior Scientist and Data Manager at Rancho BioSciences since August 2022. Prior to that, they worked as a Genomics Staff Scientist at IDEXX from 2021 to August 2022. Tomoko also has experience as a Genomics and Bioinformatics Consultant in 2020.

From 2012 to 2020, Tomoko held various positions at the University of California, Santa Cruz, including Project Scientist and Postdoctoral Fellow. Tomoko was involved in research related to epigenetic inheritance, genomics, and genetics. Additionally, Tomoko worked as a Graduate Student and Research Associate at the University of Massachusetts Medical School, specializing in developmental biology, genomics, and 3C in mammalian cells.

Earlier in their career, Tomoko gained experience as a Research Technician at Tufts University, focusing on yeast genetics. Tomoko also conducted undergraduate honors research in plant biology at the University of Massachusetts Boston.

Tomoko T. started their education in 2000 when they attended UMass Boston for their Bachelor's degree in Biology and Environmental Studies. Tomoko completed this degree in 2002. Following this, they enrolled at UMass Chan Medical School in 2005 and pursued an interdisciplinary graduate program in Molecular Medicine. Tomoko obtained their Ph.D. from UMass Chan Medical School in 2011.
