Daniel McLain

Daniel McLain is an experienced law enforcement professional and educator, currently serving as an Adjunct Instructor at North Orange County Community College District since March 2024, teaching Accident Reconstruction by Drone. Since November 2009, McLain has also been an Adjunct Instructor at Rancho Santiago Community College District, focusing on Basic Traffic Collision Investigation. McLain’s extensive background includes a notable career with the Orange County Sheriff's Department from January 1995 to September 2022, where responsibilities ranged from supervising deputies as a Sergeant to conducting traffic-related investigations in the Traffic Bureau. McLain's educational achievements include a Bachelor's degree in Criminal Justice from California Coast University and ongoing studies in Engineering at Norco College. A high school diploma was obtained from Cannon Falls High School Credit Recovery.
